Brent Johnson grew up on a farm in rural Mississippi. He was drawn to the catfish industry at an early age, eventually starting his own catfish harvesting operation. He harvested nearly every pound of catfish delivered to Superior Catfish for 22 years, until 2007, when Brent began working as a production manager for Superior. He was later offered a job in sales, and has loved his current role from the start. “Sales is my passion, I love to help make the business grow and prosper.” Brent’s plans for the future include gaining recognition for Superior in the national food service and retail sector as the premium U.S.-farm-raised catfish product it already is.
